Delta Airlines' check-in process requires passengers to arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure time for domestic flights and 3 hours before departure time for international flights. For domestic Delta flights, the boarding pass must be obtained 45 minutes before departure, and for international Delta flights, it must be obtained 60 minutes before departure.

If I want to check in with Delta Airlines, how do I do it?

With Delta Airlines, you can choose from a variety of options:

·         Mobile check-in

·         Airport self-service kiosks.

·         Airport curbside check-in.

What is the Delta Airlines check-in time?

It is recommended that you arrive two hours before your scheduled departure time. Delta Airlines requires you to check in at least 30 minutes before your departure time based on the departure city, your luggage needs, and your check-in time preferences.

Delta Shuttle's check-in times vary depending on the departure city and whether baggage must be checked in.

There is a recommendation that you arrive at the airport at least three hours before the scheduled departure time. You will need to check in at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time since check-in time is required in many cities around the globe.

Online Check-in

Documents

·         Online check-in requires one of the following:

·         PIN and SkyMiles number.

·         A confirmation number is required.

·         A credit card number is required to pay for tickets.

Availability

·         When connecting with Delta's through-check-in partners, online check-in is available for e-tickets issued by any travel agency or online agency.

·         To check in for your flight online, you must do so 24 hours before your flight, 30 minutes before your flight if it is an internal flight, and 60 minutes before your flight if it is an international flight. If an earlier check-in time is required, then you must adhere to it.

·         It is possible to check in online if you have connecting flights with Delta Air Lines.

·         Code share flights cannot be checked in online.

Options

During online check-in, you may:

·         Select passengers to check them in.

·         In the case of excess baggage, select the number of bags and pay for it.

·         The ability to view or change seat assignments.

·         Status of the upgrade.

·         If available, request an e-Boarding Pass to be delivered to your mobile device.
